Pastor · Engineer · Author

Faith that works on Monday morning.

For more than forty-six years I have preached the Word from the pulpit. Since 1984 I have built and taught technology in the working world. My books and my software grow from one conviction: truth is meant to be lived out, Monday through Saturday, where real people carry real burdens.

Two callings, one aim

Theology you can put your shoes on.

Some teaching never leaves the study. Mine refuses to. I write the way an engineer thinks and a pastor preaches: explanation, illustration, and application — with application above all. The goal is not a head full of abstractions but a life that glorifies God in the ordinary hours, where faith is tested and proven.

Every book in the series, and every tool I build, is shaped to be clear, concrete, and useful in the real world.

The Books

From Pulpit to Practice

A series that takes the great books of the New Testament out of Sunday and into Monday — verse by verse, in plain language, for people who live their faith in the real world.

Also made for groups. Each book in the series doubles as a ready-made guide for a small group, a Sunday-school class, or a home Bible study — discussion-friendly and verse by verse, whether you join a group or start one.

About Robert

A pastor who also clocks in

I have pastored and planted churches for more than forty-six years and now shepherd a congregation in Irving, Texas. I am also bi-vocational — I have built a career in enterprise technology since 1984, including twenty years at IBM. That second world keeps me honest. I do not write from an ivory tower; I write from the same Monday-through-Saturday grind my readers know.

Judy and I have walked together since 1980. God gave us eight children, all homeschooled, and twenty-three grandchildren so far.
